Retail combines high public foot traffic, hard polished surfaces and constant spill risk. Slip incidents in retail environments are a persistent source of public liability claims, and centre managers are routinely asked by insurers and legal teams to demonstrate that floor safety is being managed.

Aged care, hospitals and health facilities
Nowhere are the consequences of a fall more serious than in aged care and healthcare. Residents and patients often have reduced mobility and balance, so a surface that would be acceptable in an office can be a genuine hazard in a care corridor or bathroom.

Warehouses, plants and logistics sites
Industrial floors change character over time. Sealed concrete polishes under forklift traffic, wash-down areas hold water, and oils or product residue alter grip in ways that are hard to see. Under WHS legislation, a person conducting a business or undertaking must manage the risk of slips, trips and falls so far as is reasonably practicable.
